Meeting up with my
girl friends at timbre
Cailing and me ;)
girl friends at timbre
Dad changed our flights back to chch to the 29th of december and so it was virtually impossible to meet each one of my gal pals individually, so I decided to gather the gals together for a meal at Timbre. The ambiance at timbre was so chillax, set outdoors under the large rain trees, it was the perfect location for a cosy dinner with my friends. The food was good, we ordered they're specialty, pizzas and the seafood platter. We tried ordering drinks but they asked for our ids so, as matured "18" year olds, we had to put on a straight face and told them we didn't bring the ids. So it was embarrassing virgin margaritas ala fruity slushies for us. Darn. Everything at timbre was awesome but they totally missed out on the fundamentals. The service was shite to the max! We felt like we were being starred at throughout the night by the waiters and they couldn't wait to usher us out of their restaurant by offering us the bill before we ever asked for it. Totally rude. The bill was crazy as well with the added 17% gst attached to it. It was 113 bucks for 2 pizzas and a seafood platter as well as non-alcoholic beverages that cost as much as the alcoholic ones served during the happy hour mind you! But the bad service aside, we did have a good time catching up with one another.
