This is for you Grandma
24th December 2007, my grandmother turns 70.
She's a mother to 9 children and 15 grandchildren. Yes. I know my family is huge.Even I'm at awe at how big my family is. Raising 9 children is already a feat itself, but raising them without a dad is an even larger task. My grandad died at a young age and so gramps had to raise all the kids by herself. It was a crazy feat, but she did it. Even at this age , she still cooks, cleans and cares for her grandchildren. Its about time she sat down and relax, so her 70th birthday was a perfect opportunity to show how much we all loved her.
Each family had to present something during the dinner and my family did a nice slideshow of
past photographs. My aunt hired her photographer friend to take photographs of the night, most of the photographs are taken by him. I was totally on photoblogger mode that night and so I took heaps of pictures of the night but I gave up halfway because the food was too good to be missed. 10 course meal if I'm not wrong. The photographers camera is so good. Look how clear the pictures are!
