Portuguese Sweet bread
I made my very own loaf of Portuguese bread the other day ! The dough used was once again similar to the French brioche dough- a very rich bread with eggs and butter in it. The bread was a little bit on the dry side but it tasted so good on its own. With tangy marmalade spread on the delectable slice of fresh bread, it was like having icing on top of a cake. Brioche bread is great for French toast so I used the remaining loaf of bread to make French toast with caramel Baileys.Bellissimo!
